Provider support?

I begin my pre op diet yesterday and have surgery booked for Tuesday. I was wondering when we hear from the provider we are with? I haven't heard anything a part from payment. Do you hear more after surgery. Feeling a bit worried. Hope I'm dojng everything right xx

I had lots of information sent in the post and told what had to happen at the consultation. I had to do my pre op diet for two weeks before the op. What are you having done? Might be best to ring your provider? I had a 6 week check up after the op but don't hear anything else from them.

I am having a gastric band fitted.
I got all the information in the post too so that's probably sufficient. I think I just expected them to be in touch seeing how things were, or reminding that the pre op diet starts etc etc.

I'm so nervous! xx

Aw I bet you are but you will be totally fine
I just had a letter reminding me when to start the pre op diet, no phone call or anything. I know what you mean it does feel like your left to figure things out yourself. As long as you know the time to be at the hospital and when the pre op diet started you should be fine xx

I got a wodge of info through the post, then a call 48 hours before to confirm. In between they didn't contact me, but I had the clinic number and contact details for the dietician team if I had queries or issues.
