Puréed foods question???

Hi All,

My DD is 6 years old in June & she has requested to go to Blackpool pleasure beach & stay overnight.
We will go on Friday straight from school, eat out Friday night for her birthday tea & then all day Saturday in the pleasure beach then home Saturday night.

My question is what the heck am I going to eat...

It will be the start of my 2nd week on puréed foods & 3 wks post op.

I thought about taking as we don't have a fridge in the room sugar free jelly, purred fruit but what will I eat in the restaurant other than soup & in the pleasure beach all day...

Breakfast will be okay as I can have milky porridge.

I was so excited booking it but not feeling a bit "oh this is gonna be a pain":sigh:

Soups and puddings. Ice cream, custard etc x

I'm ok for the Friday evening with soup in the restaurant but in the pleasure beach all I will be able to get is ice cream & definitely not low fat.

Have decided that for the 1st 6 weeks post op I would have been best at home, off work & seeing no one.:sigh:

Oh don't be hard on yourself. Especially so.soon after the operation. You can have coffee, ice lolly (mini milk is very low on fat). Have lattes, smooties, maybe frozen yogurt.
Enjoy your holiday.

Hi
I'm 6 weeks post op and I'm on holiday in the canaries we have been out to restaraunts and I've just had water then picked off everyone's plate my hubby did choose mash rather than chips but as I only had a tiny bite I said dont do that again have what you like I went all day Wednesday eating from my handbag whilst travelling without any hunger pangs or problems I had a small nut protein bar that I nibbled on and how about a frube I'm sure you will have a fab time and be happy to join in the fun and watch everyone else eat ( I can't believe how much they wouldn't put away) And to think that was us a few short weeks ago Kim x
Have fun

Laughing cow lights were my staple LOL they melt in the mouth so as good as puree in my book LOL at this stage I sucked everything LOL I know it feels scary but go and enjoy it all will come right...as others have said plenty of milky drinks will do the job nicely, just remember your energy levels will be low so watch yourself :) have lots in your handbag as a quick grab and a quick pick up x x x x
