?Ques for Liz & other longer term Banders!

Hello to Liz & all others who've had their band longer than the week and a half I have!

I'm right in the middle of my liquid phase and needing some inspiration! PLEASE give me hope and give me an example of what you'd eat on a 'normal' day. I just need something to look forward to! I miss chewing right now!:cry:

HI hun,I know how you feel. I was on liquid for 3 weeks and it was hell. I was actually retching in the end as I couldn't stand the shakes and soup any longer. I am finally on solids now and am enjoying all the different flavours. I am mainly eating fish, salad and thick soups. I also like scrambled egg and tinned toms.

I am not looking forward to having to go back to the liquid after my first fill.
 
Know how you feel I had mine 11 days ago, I am a spicy food girl and am looking forward to a nice meal that I can chew. I have a fill booked for 10th July...but dread ging back on liquids/sloppies again!!
Sue when are you having your fill?
 
hi kelly, try freezing your youghurts and then it gives a texture that you can chew but melts back to liquid form before it gets to the pouch, this can also be done with tubs of low fat mousse.

i love spicy foods as well and found mulagatawny soup was lovely and something more lively for the taste buds.

bovriol with a sprinkle of pepper can make a nice change from tea & coffee, also oxo cubes in a mug is great you can get chicken beef or vegtable oxo.

mashed or blended banana for liquids is lovely with low fat custard.
