Replacing food

I have decided that i need to find something to replace food in the reward and comfort stakes.
Having had a good think and a wonderful secret santa gift from Lush i have decided that from now on my treat will be something that smells lovely and makes me feel good! I have always loved nice scents and making the effort to go out to places like body shop, lush ect will improve my confidence to so a win win :)
What is going to be your 'treat' after your op ????

my treat is buying smaller clothes. I have never thought of food as a treat so maybe easier for me. I have always looked at food as my enemy.
I had a load of lush products for Christmas too, the bathroom smells gorgeous. x

Crafts. I can spend a fortune on fabric for quilting and other sewing projects so that will be my reward. And maybe shoes if I've been REALLY good? X

I already love special bath stuff , like royal jelly , sanctuary etc ( can't stand lush tho lol )
Think my treat will be enjoying clothes , which I currently don't , cos nothing looks good :(

I have never been a clothes person even when i was size 10 i was a tomboy so can't see that changing jeans and t-shirts will do me but the smell from the lush stuff is driving me wild :rotflmao:

New earrings / bracelets / necklaces have been my treats and rewards for a while now. The best thing is they will always fit!

Defo looking forward to new clothes from shops i couldnt get an ankle into anything at the mo like river island, i always go in and buy shoes and bags so i can still feel fashionable and buy something in the same shops as my slim friends but cant wait to actually buy some clothes not from the plus size shops!!! I spent my twenties buying from evans etc, i am now 30 so looking forward to dressing in the clothes i want to wear instead of just what will fit me.

Lush stuff is lovely, bought myself one of the glitter soaps the other day, keeping it til new years eve though as a bit ott for work i think lol

I'm the same as shana, I've spent my late teens and 20s buying clothes from evans. There's a massive Next and a TKmaxx about 5 minutes from my house and the only items I've ever bought from either of them is stuff for the house! Be amazing to be able to go into both and buy myself a new outfit or two....or three....or fifty!!!!

I have a glass fettish so I will be buying myself a few rods of glass instead of foody treats. I do love clothes though and can't wait to be able to walk into White Stuff and actually buy myself a lovely dress instead of a handbag or scarf.

How did you start making your own beads Kate ? I really fancy making my own jewelry

Not always. Necklaces and bracelets come in standard lenghts. When I was bigger I had to have them extended.

My reward is either getting new clothes as I lose weight, or joyfully fitting into some of the lovely smaller sized clothes I have kept from my 11st days. Obviously not all of them yet. I have a leather skirt and several leather jackets and coats that still don't meet in the middle :)

I've made jewellery for quite a few years but could never get the beads I wanted to make stuff with so I decided to make my own. I brought a book and the equipment and just taught myself. It's quite easy really and you can buy a torch for around £30 which is more than adequate.

I now have my nails done twice a month with bio sculpture gel. It strengthens them so much and they look gorgeous!

Is that shellac Jo? My manicurist is shortly going to train to do shellac, as I found it lasted amazingly when I went away for 2 weeks in October; actually stayed perfect for three weeks!! I can't wait to have it twice a month too instead of weekly normal manicures.

Sounds the same but not sure! I've just decorated 3 rooms in the house, had emulsion n gloss all over them, done some DIY and they still look perfect...love em!

Clothes clothes and more clothes. Trying to keep it cheap and versatile at min as not in clothes for very long before they look like tents but I can't help but buy from dotty perkins and next (not plus size bit!) just because I can! Plucking up courage to try river Island as depending on item I'm either 18 20 sometimes a 22. But the buzz of having these new options is amazing!!! X

I'd love to have manicures but not worth it in my job , but I may have the occasional facial or massage , finances depending
