Resizing picture on my post - how?

Can anyone help please?

I can successfully insert a picture into a post but it's too big for my liking, how can I make it smaller? The little boxes are there around the outside but it won't allow me to drag them in to make the photo smaller...any ideas please?

Check your picture editting software to see if you can save the photo as a smaller resolution jpg file. They sometimes refer to the resolutions as for photo printing, email, internet etc. Fewer pixels should make the picture appear smaller.
