The same happened to me, I thought my pouch was broken! Once you start on solid food, restriction will kick in big time. Also as your body is still healing, the stomach nerves haven't all recovered yet so you won't feel much restriction. Just take it easy, and don't push yourself
Phewwww thanks so much , I was thinking what on earth is all these people on about I feel so full etc , I just stop myself at say have a tin of soup now and think well don't eat any more yet it's too early and when I eat like half a jacket potato with a spoon of cottage cheese still feel ok , but can't wait for the feeling to start as it scares me tbh xxx
Well I hope that's the case with me. I'm on purée diet now for 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to normal food. Are you doing any walking or exercising JJ?
I to have varied restriction on a daily basis depending on what foods i have, I am glad I am not the only one. today i am feeling hardly any restriction at all, which scares me abit but i know tomorrow is a new dayIt will happen, don't worry
I am 7 months post op and what i find is different foods feel different, and my restriction varies. One day i can eat a bit more than normal, other days (like today) i had about half a chicken thigh and 2 spoons of rice and beans, and had to stop
