Royal Wedding

Peterborough Guy

Luton and Dunstable
Oh well I just have been told by the better half that she wants to watch the wedding tomorrow and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Looks like the kids want me to take them swimming tomorrow, and then a walk in the park and feed the ducks.

At least I should burn off a few calories I guess.

So what you upto, whose watching the wedding?

No wedding for me! Am working...all weekend :-( Not that I want to watch it!!!

I'll be watching as I think work will be busy because of it (I answer questions that people text in to AQA 63336) with people wanting to know who designed this one's dress and who's that sitting next to that one.

Just been to Tesco to do the weekly shop and it's absolutely ridiculous in there - shelves are bare (and it's a BIG Tesco). They were even out of toilet roll !!

I'm going to watch it so I can see what they are all wearing and whether anyone fluffs their lines.

i was gonna go to tesco but prob tomorrow now.....didnt think ppl would be so manic!!!

Defo going to watch. Love it! Yay for Wills and Kate!

Some of our shiny new relatives/friends have invited us for morning tea (should be afternoon tea, bloody inconvenient time for a wedding if you ask me) so we are going over there. Have my weight watchers cream, pointed goodies and thoroughly enjoy a sandwich with a possible scone thrown in for good measure to commemorate our future king and queen's marriage.

As for shops, how can everyone run out of scones? Blooming none of the three supermarkets in our area had them or clotted cream, then Asda (mega one) in Bristol had hardly anything.... Grrrr idiots buying too much xx

Hearing odd bits of it on tv on my calls and sick of hearing her described as a 'commoner'!!! If she a commoner what the bloody hell does that make me? A pauper?! Lol

Her dress is absolutely perfect. They make a lovely couple. Good luck to 'em.

Yep we are but commoners lol ... Her dress is beautiful though :) really suits her....
They look so relaxed together and it's lovely to see ....

OK, I admit it. I shed a tear or two!

I thought she looked beautiful and they were so 'in to each other' when they made their vows.

You think so? When I married my ex hubby I was so excited and couldn't stop grinning the whole service yet they just look like it a normal day. Don't look excited or happy. Havin it all televised etc seems to have taken all the intimateness out of the day. Buuuut I know I'm a bit of a Scrooge. It just my opinion!!!

beautiful dress. congrats to them both.

Didn't like all the minibuses for the minor royals though. It's a royal wedding. We want carriages!

Lovely dress, they both looked fab and loved the music they picked. God bless them both.
I am a Royalist and PROUD !!!!

Lovely ceremony.. could have been a tad more emotional! Like a stroke of the hand or a gentle touch here or there. It was all a bit too orchestrated! But they did look happy and beautiful, both of them. Thoroughly enjoyed that :)

Well I watched it in the end as I could`nt find any paint to watch!
And with all the hype building up to it, was`nt sure I would enjoy - but then when I saw the `Duchess of Cambridge` in her wedding gown, I was quite moved - she looked really beautiful and truly happy.....and with young William....why would`nt she.....made me feel quite emotional!
