Salt and stalling?

Just wondering - does anyone have experience of salty foods causing stalling? I've not lost anything in a month now and during December a lot of the protein I had was lean roasted gammon. Could this have caused a stall?
 
sorry im unsure but didnt want to read and leave... i would contact the dietician and let he know what you have been eating... are you keeping up with your fluids?
 
The only reason I can think of could be related to salt always making you thirsty. Make you need to eDrink a lot more water when eating salty foods :)
 
Salty foods can make you retain water and you are advised to be careful with salt intake if you struggle with oedema (I do!). I don't know if it affects weight gain if you don't, but maybe this helps? Its just water weight though if it is, and will be off soon enough

Good advice Yvessa.

If it is water retention then believe or not the best way to get shot is by drinking more water!!
