scammed by protein powder suppliers

Hi, just want to warn people that I ordered some protein powder from cheapdiscountsupplements.com. Unfortunately as I have now tried to contact them regarding my order, I find there is no telephone number for them. I also googled the name and came up several people saying that these are scammers. They have debited our account twice, as the first time I went to pay, the screen went blank and froze, so I re-submitted the order.
I am really disappointed, especially as was looking forward to getting the protein powder to have after my op on Monday as a source of protein in the future if I found food difficult.
I just want to really warn anyone else to be careful xxxxxxxx

Oh Jan, I am really sorry to hear you have had a bad experience...I have never used them. I have bought my protein shakes from www.myprotein.co.uk, I have ordered twice now, very quick to deliver & no problems. As for your taken payments, you should be able to phone your bank & claim the money back directly from them. I have done this several times if I have ever paid with my debit card & had problems with non-receipt of items (my bank is Santander/Abbey) and they gave me my money back within 24 hours. Sorry to hear this Jan. Angie is correct though, report it to your bank and they will do a "chargeback" to reverse the transactions and get you your cash back.

Definitely contact your bank. They can help you. I have ordered from them before with no issues but that doesn't mean that they are honest.

Hi Jan

if you've paid by debit card your bank can get your money back via a system called 'claw back'. You need to contact your bank, explain that you've paid but haven't received goods etc and they can get your money back for you.

As above, I used myprotein and haven't had any problems. There are some dodgy people around - the company might have been ok before but may have gone bankrupt. You should be able to get your money back thought as your bank are insured against this type of thing. Don't let it put you off protein powders as they are a great tool in the early days when you can't get enough protein in.xx

Hmmm it says on their website they give you a tracking number when goods are dispatched. Sound like a right dodgy bunch of scamsters indeed! Done a couple of checks and the site is registered to a company in Canada, not that it's probably of any help to you.

Certainly do a charge back through your bank, and thanks for the heads up about it for anyone else who might think of ordering from them xxx
