Hey eveyone,

Can i ask what are the scars like after having the band done? I know its key hole surgery but not sure bout scars!

Everyone is different and heal differently and it depends on your skin type. Mine are very noticeable but I heal and scar quickly - but thats just me! others will have lovely teeny tiny white lines.

I dont really have any scars, i dont scar and bruise easily so hopefully that will help!

my band scars click on the thumb nail....
they heal and go to thin white lines x

Mine are hardly worth a mention, 5 or 6 tiny less then a cm in length each and look no worse than if I'd scratched myself with my fingernails. not raised at all.

Not for everyone Liz, mine are very noticeable still - unfortunatly

I had a single cut which is about two inches/5 cms long. it is a very faint pink and hardly noticeable. Lovely job!!

Mine to be honest are bloody horrible!

They stick up abotu half a cm they are dark red,

Some are itchy soem are numb

i will NEVER ever show off my body to a partner

Mine are fine, they are just like a thin red line and Im only 3 months post op Hope they stay like this XX

Same!I'm in Egypt 5 weeks after my op and want my bikini back out by then..if they're still visible after couple weeks think I'll be jumping back in to my sunbeds to at least turn it silver and less visible..

That bio oil is meant to be good for scars and blemishs etc so may try some of that.
Bet you cant wait for ur op and then ur hol!
Im waiting for my loan to go through hopefully it will be next week so i can book!!!

I'm not too worried about the scars as my stomach is covered in stretchmarks anyway!!!
