Scrambled eggs??

I'm just starting my pre-op diet and wanted to know if you can do scrambled eggs in the microwave with no milk or butter????

yeh dead easy - I do however put a teaspoon of milk in mine, 30 seconds on med heat in a glass jug (they stick to plastic too much) - mix again and then another 20 sec's on full power, mix again vigorously - they still look a bit raw but continue cooking and by the time your spoon is in to eat them they will have firmed up. I have found if you cook them for too long they go like rubber, so short bursts till you get them right for your microwave.
Enjoy x

I do the same but also add grated Cheese yummy !!!!

Should be fine Alison x

Because your on your pre-op diet Alison, and knowing how strict Mr El-Hasani is I wouldn't recommend adding milk just to be in the safe side. The thing with me was if I had had something I shouldn't have and was woken up to be told the op didn't go ahead I would have been gutted.

How it going so far?? early days I know!!

Good luck

Hi Kim, it's ok I guess, but have had the noisiest stomach ever and after only one day. Its probably not the best time for me as I am due totm in a few days too. But to be honest I am not copping out but it's harder then I thought. I really thought I'd be ok. It's the easy food the picky stuff, sweet things. And having all the kids pack lunch stuff and making them nice meals. Oh god rambling.........I will do it I can do it if I can stop smoking nearly 4weeks now, I can stop eating crap.
I would be just like you and to be honest I am doing the diet for 3 weeks instead of 2 so I can make sure it's shrunk enough. I need to pull myself together and stop thinking about it.

Thanks for asking Kim. How's things with you?

Alison.

I'm doing really well thanks Alison, had a couple of offish days last week where my new little pouch was not happy. The pre-op diet is hard but is so worth it. For me it felt like coming to the end of a very long journey, even though really it was just the beginning.

I also found it the hardest when cooking for the family and must admit I did feel a bit sorry for myself in the first few days, it will get better Hun.

Keep in touch Hun, you know were all here for you, and feel free to ask as many questions as you like xx
