Hi all i see surgeon on wednesday 3rd dec. Does anybody know wot i can expect at this appointment? Also how long after did u wait for op x

I was in surgery 4 weeks after initial contact with surgical team. But it's different all over.
I'm in Cheshire.

Hi I'm in Sunderland if it's your first appointment with surgeon they check weight and BP and basically I'd lost my target weight so he asked wat I thought about surgery and also felt my tummy. It was always bypass with me but they may go through other options with you. Hope this helps x

Hi thanks its the bypass with me too. How long after u seen surgeon did u wait for ur op? Some people are tellinge within 4-8 weeks after i see mr carr. But im not sure

I was told 8 weeks to endoscopy but I got offered a cancellation 4 - 5 weeks later and then approx 4 weeks after that for surgery. At seminar end of June we where told 12-18 months but since then they are doing ops on weekends and have extra surgeons. I'm getting my op 17th December so it's been like 6 month x

I was at seminar in june too. I think mine is moving pretty quickly to be honest. I hit all targets set by dietitian and i was only there on 5th nov. Hopefully im looking about january with a bit of luck x

I have recieved a letter today sayin they disscussed my case at the MDT meeting on 24th and will see me for review at consultant appointment on 3rd dec does anybody kno wot they will do at this appointment? Am i actually on waitin list yet?

I was listed as soon as I had endoscopy all was ok he said I'm going to put you on list for surgery. It'll soon come around x

I asked them to consider me for any cancellations when I was waiting for endoscopy. X
