Settling down after 2nd fill

So I had my second fill last Friday, a small amount as he's now just tweaking towards the sweet spot and doesn't want me struggling with certain foods and having to rely on sliders. Another appointment in 4 weeks, but only if I feel I need it.

Band is certainly tighter and I really have to concentrate on food right now. Choices are poor, I haven't had a kitchen for 3 weeks so we're relying on microwave, take out and eating out which is leaving me feeling pretty crappy on the food front. The dust from the building work doesn't help as it's kicked off my asthma, so I feel a tightness in the chest all the time one way or the other.

I'm eating less without a doubt, which will be great when I get my shiny new kitchen and start back on home cooked food. Going out to eat is interesting because I know only choose fish on the menu. Funny because I never had fish before, eating out was about hoovering up as much high calorie, rich food that I could, fish was always a 'poncy' choice! I have found myself eating the lovely veg first though, you can see what's missing in my diet at the moment!

No point to my ramblings tonight, just felt like sharing ;-)

i cant wait for my first fill although i am apprehensive because im losing weight well as it is, i dont want to feel really tight x

Fingers crossed you can get back to normal once the builders have finished x

I just got my letter through for my 3rd fill with Mr Slater on 3rd December. Looking at how many events we've got on over Christmas that involve eating out, I think the fill will be a good idea! I shall see how I feel closer to the time.

I realise my food choices are poor, but I actually put yesterday's food into MFP and it came out at 1156. I'm so quick to beat myself up when I don't need to. So I ate 2 biscuits, but I didn't the whole pack and several slices of bread as a chaser, which is how I'd have eaten previously.

The moral of the story? Always look for the evidence of the good news, rather than allowing your crooked thinking to take control.

Definitely. Tracking keeps the focus and perspective! Carry on losing :D x
