Hi had a funny incident today at work. Had my luch and then within half an hour I started to feel uncomfortable. to cut a long story short, I began to shake and feel quite ill. never had the shaking before, just wondering if it was my pouch telling me it didn't like lunch?
Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Thats how I feel when I have eaten something that dosnt agree with me

I'd had porridge (quakers)which I have all the time Phil, I eat it quite frequently but never had this a effect before. I don't add any sugar. So careful with everything I eat. Wouldn't of minded if I had been at home, but hard to handle at work.
I thought with dumping it was going to toilet. Still learning :)

Sounds like a minor dumping episode to me. I have had several occasions where I have eaten something for ages and then one day it creates this sort of episode.

LOL dumping syndrome when it hits can be so much more than needing the loo! Worth having a look at I too have found it can be foods you think are ok and have stuck with then all of a sudden shakes, sweating and that hypo feeling

Sounds like dumping to me.Going to the loo always seems like too much fat has been eaten for me.The shakes are like a diabetic gets if they go into a hypo. Its an insulin rush and something to do with the Pancreas. The oats so simple might have sugar in anyway and you could be extra sensitive just now.It may not happen again for ages.I can eat the syrup ones and nothing happens! Also carbs turn to sugar so it could be the amount of carbs in it.Most processed cereal has sugar so get fine milled oats from Hollands and make your own porrige.Take it to work in a small flask, with chopped almonds its lovely and good for you.

There are times when I have the shakes such as after I've walked into work despite breakfast. I find it's usually been on days when I've dine something energetic or used up any spare stores of energy. I get wobbly legs my hands really shake & I feel crap! So I nibble a protein bar or a cereal bar & it eases perhaps as much from the resting as anything.
When I dump I get the light headed rush & feel tired or stomach pains & the need to rush to the toilet with the usual loose stools.
Dumping affects us all in many different ways & sometimes safe foods suddenly aren't for a meal or two & then no problem again.
It's not nice whenever or why ever it happens, good luck.
