Sheer Greed

happy days

Will I ever learn ?
Toast with lurpack this morning then off to gym
Lunch sausage roll as doing weekly shop in morrisons.
Done the cleaning this afternoon and just ate half a Easter egg. Don't even like nestle choc but still rammed it in my mouth now I feel physically ill.
Wonder if I will always be greedy.

I don't even know why I feel so guilty as it's only what normal people do. I think it's more that I know it was greed as I didn't even enjoy it.

Street Party. I stick cucumber, 1 teaspoon humus, 1 cocktail sausage, 1 cheese and pineapple on stick, 3 large strawberries. Fine

.... a sliver of Victoria sandwich, large spoonful of cheesecake, 2.5 glasses of Pimms.
1.5 pakora. Not fine.
Still greedy.

As you say only what normal people eat, but I'm not a normal person. I feel sick as anything and guilty beyond belief !!

None of you are greedy, you've all had life changing surgery which doesn't allow you to et much, and I'm guessing you all try to stick to healthy diets?
So a 'slip up' once in a while isn't greedy it's natural, we all like treats !
Just sorry to hear some of you ended up feeling sick
Em xxxx

I'm not sure I dare even confess! As my friends said....for once I "lived a little"
Vino, Hogg roast, oh and the desserts...in abundance!
Back on plan for me as now sober n remorseful!
I blame the queen :D

Yes whenever I try the things I used to love to snack on they make me feel sick now after no more than 2 bits, but still ave to try them from time to time. The guilt is awful, and the worry before getting weighed is even worse, its hard to be sensible all the time, but we must try for best results. I haven't been sick but would rather that than feel queasy for a couple of hours. Am to greedy to be sick- I used to say. xx

But none of you pigged out like pre op.You just ate like'normal'people, result!

Snap I have stuffed my face but was too embarrassed to post it as everyone seemed too be being so good , I'm blaming the queen too !! Lol x

I have never understood people who joined ww and slimming world after wls but I think I need to. I need to get back to healthy eating instead of eating whatever just because it's a smaller portion.

That's a really good point HD. When I was on holiday a couple of weeks ago , I actually ate hardly anything portion ( and nutrition ) wise. I detested just about all the food but could just about manage the puddings ( me able to manage pudding-nothing new there then)! But even though I was eating hardly anything I did not lose weight , either that week or the one after. This week I went right back to basics ( till yesterday) and was really strict about very low fat solid protein with no sauce, then veg and no additional carbs such as spuds. I cut out my lunchtime crispbreads and just had the protein, and swapped mu porridge for an egg for breakfast. I did have veggies. I lost 4lbs after a 3 week stall. My calories must have been higher when I was on holiday, and the portions were definitely larger so I think your right. It's not just portion size but how good the nutritional value is.

Miss T iam on my hols in 19 days ( not that Ian counting ) don't know weather to give it a go before I go knowing I won't be totally focussed or wait till I get back and do it properly.

Well, if I were you I'd have a really good 19 days worth of going back to basics, i.e.high protein lo carb- egg or ham or bacon for brekkie, turkey chunks and a salad for lunch and grilled chicken (no sauce) and veg for tea. That should shift a few pounds ( I lost 4lbs last week doing this after a 3 week stall) and if you do put them back on on hols it won't seem such a disaster. Then when you come back you can join up like a 'normal' person does post holiday to get back on track !
Best of luck xx
