Shoulder tip pain 2 weeks post surgery!

I know left shoulder tip pain is fairly common for the first few days post surgery due to gas etc but mine came on at 10 days post op and i still get occasional twinges. Did anyone else have this? My surgeons not sure whats causing it!

I have very bad shoulder blade pain , under my shoulder blades in back , they also said gas but seems muscular , I know gas can stay trapped for a long period of time and is felt in shoulders , I have been prescribed buscopan for the Spasms but so far not doing a thing , hope you ease up soon and it stops hurting , they also told me could be posture change after loosing weight xx

I kept saying mine felt muscular but it turned out to be wind pain.... also if your early post op it could also be kidneys.... not drinking enough immediately post op is not easy and I also suffered from this..... I felt completely miserable but wind relief....pain relief...... hot water bottle and moving around helped and once I could up my fluids a bit that helped too..... of course it may be neither......... hope it helps in some way.... if your really worried call your team and ask what they may suggest

I have had a right time with mine , after thinking it was wind for two weeks I finally gave in and wen to a and e only to find out my blood markers are up indicating a blood clot also had a nasty chest infection , I am back injecting my self with thinners and on antibiotics and due to have a specialist lung scan on Sunday , always ask about a long on going pain :-(
