I GIVE UP! After losing treble what they asked me to SRH have just cancelled my appointment with Mr. Small for the THIRD time. Intially was ment to see him in Oct, then Nov, then Feb and now they will get in touch!! YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY??:cry::cry::cry:

Aww dont give up hun, I know its really really difficult to keep the motivation going when you keep getting let down but you will get an appointment and when you do you want them to know how well you have done. Chin up XX

omg!!! i dont know what to say??... i thought srh were good... as im under them.... you ll be very angry right now, maybe take time to calm down then kick some ass monday!!!! its disgraceful really is, there MUST be an explanation so demand one sweets, well done on your loss, keep up the good work dont let this set you back, where abouts are you on this?... is it your first appointment?... if so i wonder if there doing this to get rid of a backlog maybe?..... keep letting them know your names sweets NEVER give up and keep yourself fore front in the system xxx

Stress provoking xxx

This is so stress provoking for patients... waiting is difficult enough...

I thought there was an additional surgeon now at the Sunderland hospital?

Would it help if you had a chat with the PALS and if enough people did it they should ease your pathway?

I don't know what to suggest only feel for you all and I know how long you have been waiting too Kell, it's arduous and stress provoking, not good for you.

Hoping that there may be some answers and good advice, hope available to you all...

Thinking of you all that are affected and sending humungous hugs as always....

Thanks hunnies. This is my 3rd appointment. I should have been seen early Oct originally. Been a year since my GP referred me. Feel like it is not going to happen xxx <3

well i think its because they must have a huuuue surgery list all ready or a backlog to work through, for peeps who are all ready on the list, as another girl on here was cancelled and she was on thrid appointmnet to, how bloody annoying!!! dont let your hard work go to waste tho sweets x

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I knew this was the best place to come
I think I am more dissapointed as i have made plans in accordance with certain timings. Booked a 30th birthday venue with a Rocky Horror theme, with the exciting intention to wear a basque!! :8855:
Something i could not dream of doing at the size i am now. Oh well! Mind if they sort their butts out soon i may still reach that goal. It is not until next Jan....u r all invited by the way....Is in Sunderland xxxx

i think one of the problems is sunderland is trying to cover a too wide catchment area, there needs to be more hopitals in the north east that can do the op and need the funding to do so. if durham and middlesborough had the facilities it would cut the list down dramatically and lessen the burdern on mr small and his team. but that isnt going to happen with all the cut backs.

just keep ringing and asking for a cancellation thats how i got my appointment ,and thank goodness i did or i would have been in the same position as you sorry thats sound horrible and isnt going to make you feel any better.
