Silly question

This is a bit off topic I know, but did anyone have nosebleeds after the op. Mine has been bleeding since Sunday (op on Friday) and has been keeping me awake at night as it's either running or blocked. I'm wondering if they put anything in your nose whilst you're under the anaesthetic. It's bothering me more than my stomach

No question is a silly question, maybe they scratched the lining of your nostrils with the oxygen 'thing'.

If you are worried about it give the team a ring or see your gp x

Yeah I did, it was because of the nasal oxygen tube. It tends to dry out the mucous membranes in your nose and cause nose bleeds.

Are you doing the anti-coagulant injections because they thin your blood and you can bleed a lot more easily especially if you blow your nose too hard (Or if you are a digger LOL)
