Not been on here for a while but I thought I'd give people an update! I was booked in to have a bypass but after speaking to the surgeon I changed my mind and went for a sleeve!
The day of the op was lets just say they worst day of my life, the way I felt when I come round in recovery is something I hope I never have to feel again!
I was sent home after one night which was great after a sleepless night in the hospital, everyday I started to feel better and better, I went back to work after a week off but felt good enough to work on the Thursday and Friday from home on the week of the op.
To be honest I don't feel any different now, my stomach don't feel any different but I have no interest in food, it's almost a chore to eat sometimes, the weight is coming off nicely my op was 3 weeks today and I've lost 32lb which I could never of done with out this!
The only thing I'm finding uncomfortable is since the op at night I get a dead hip/leg and have to turn over, has anyone else had this?
