Sleevers - Did anyone not feel full on water?

Hi,

I'm on week 3 of my liquid stage and am allowed 175mls water/tea/coffee/squash 8 times a day and it doesn't seem to make me feel full. The second I have soup I'm massively full, but it worries me that watery things don't do it. Help!

Fluids don't fill you up, soup being a bit thicker will, but fluids go through. From very early on I've been able to drink lots. I just came home from work and filled a big teapot, drank it all as I'm a bit dehydrated today. I waited my 30mins before eating but didn't feel at all full. As I understand it once the swelling goes fluid isn't restricted.

I find now that liquid soups and yoghurts go through very quickly. Slider foods so I don't tend to eat them much. Restriction kicks in massively when you go onto solids.

Thank you smaller me, I've been massively panicking about not feeling full on fluids (water/tea), yesterday I absent mindedly drank 600ml in 2 hrs, looked at the bottle and thought oh lord! Great to have confirmation I've not gone completely wrong!

I had a wrap - not a sleeve.

I can drink a mug of coffee no problem at all - and could then drink another...

However, high protein solids really does not take much to really fill me up. In the morning, I have a Danione yogurt and then can only manage about 1/3 of a cup of tea at best. On a weekend I might have two scrambled eggs (no toast or anything) and a couple of mouthfuls of tea. On the other hand, if I drink the tea first, I can eat no problem 10 mins or so later.

Probably why they say don't drink for 30mins or so after eating.
