as post bypass was told to avoid slimfast like the plague as it really high in sugar. Dont know if anyone else been told this?

Thanks for the info - i didn't know that & I have stacks in my cupboard, which is no use to me now. Will pass on to a friend, so wont go to waste.

Never tried them I look at it like this I can not eat that much so what I do eat I make sure is something yummy and proper foodO)

I've not had any problems either before or after bypass.
Sometimes have one in place of a meal if I'm in a hurry and must admit I really love the coffee one. Got tins of powder, unopened (thought it would work out cheaper) as I don't like the consistency when you make them up but the ready made drinks are great, better still if you can get them for £1 which is all they're really worth!

Thanks, they were on offer at Tesco too but its just the dry tine now two for £7.

Im on Slim Fast at the moment as Ive just had a fill and usually buy the six packs but there are some new flavours in the individual bottles which sound nice.

Adding loads of ice and blending it up makes it infinately nicer. I get the powders...I thought it says low GI on the pack which means it's not supposed to be high sugar...I'm getting deja vue again
