Hi I've not been on the boards much because I'm not very successful. Having said that there's no way I could have lost what I have in this timescale without this surgery but I'm way behind most other sleevers and it does get me down.
I have only lost 54lbs and I'm exactly 6 months post op today. I have been reading that a lot of sleevers are either at goal or are 70 or 80lbs off by now and it's incredibly frustrating as I've been following the rules and eating at around 800 cals per day and mostly avoiding carbs which is not easy as a vegetarian. I have PCOS and hyperthyroidism but again that's a common issue for a lot of us so I feel a bit downhearted to be honest. I'm back at the gym working out but it's not made much difference to be honest and I'm still going through the long stalls with short periods of loss pattern.
It's all part of it and I have no regrets but I do wish I could post up the big numbers as I really feel I'm following the rules. I shall carry on and hope my magic window of opportunity stays open as long as possible.
