Guess what- after phoning the supervisor at 5.30am to say that I was snowed in and couldn't make my 7-3 shift, another supervisor called me back at 10am and told me I HAD to get in!!! It was nearly half way through my shift, no trains were running and it was not at all safe to drive (especially as the last time it snowed, I was coming off the motorway onto a slip road, skidded on black ice and did a 180 and ended up facing the wrong way on the motorway!).
He then proceeded to phone me a further 4 times, threatening me that I needed to be in, no matter what time I got there.
So I nervously left for the 35mile trip, got in at 1pm just to work a measly 2 hours!!!
I used to think this particular supervisor was alright but now I just think he's a
C@^¥!!!'
Gonna have a hot bath and a glass of wine to try and chill out now! Grrrr. Xx
