Have just met my first 4 stone loss!! Am so happy, still adjusting to my new eating and new life, but it's an amazing time! Got to say thanks to all you wonderful people for your advice and support, think I would have gone mad without you all!! Xx

It seems like this sudden restriction is part of the healing process, my friend had her band the same day and is just the same.
We both have a 7ml band, and neither of us have anything in it, so not planning a fill for quite some time!! X

I have a long way to go yet, about another 7 stone to go. My brother promised me a shopping trip to get anew wardrobe when I reach my final goal! Can't wait to go into a normal shop!! So not buying anything new at the moment, apart from knickers cause they keep falling down!! Lol x

definitely smaller knickers mine once fell down to my knees on my way up the street to Sainsbury luckily I had trousers on but had to keep a tight hold of them coz my trousers were big too and was petrified I was going to trip up oh the fun you have to come xx

It was about 3 months, but felt like forever! Give Pauline Clifford a ring, she will put you through to the lady who sorts out all the surgery lists, she can give you a rough idea how long it might be! Xx

Well my op was nearly 3 months to the day I had my pre-op xx

no im sure it will fly by i got my pre-op sheet well got both because i think i maybe lactouse intolerant due to upset stomach when ever i tried slimfast and that sort of thing, so got low fat no card diet as a substitut so gonna give them a trial run and see which one best suits dietiatian said try them both for two days no more
