Hi, my doctor referred me for weight loss surgery 4-5 weeks ago but still waiting to see somebody......not heard anything yet, is this normal or should i get in touch with my gp again?

I don't know about your area but in many areas LONG waits are the order of the day. It is very, very frustrating but hang on in there for another couple of weeks.

Hi sue welcome hun i can only give advise on my own situation as all areas are different but here in Cornwall i was almost 3 years from start to finish, i know that seems forever but should you have a wait, use the time wisely. Research as much as you can. You will have to jump thru many hoops but slowly slowly it will happen x x x gl
