Some food ideas

It can be disheartening not being able to find suitable foods post-op but I get real pleasure when I can add something new to my diet. Here are some I've discovered recently:

Bear Nibbles ( www.bearnibbles.co.uk )
Yummy snack packs of granola or fruit with no added sugar. I especially love their cocoa cherry pie granola nibbles... mmmm !

Nairns Oat Bakes ( www.nairns-oatcakes.com )
Three flavours of tasty snack packs. Low GI.

Cottage Cookies ( www.cottagecookiesltd.com )
Sugar free and no added sugar biscuits. Their digestives are wonderful with cheese ! I just bought some of their ginger biscuits to try too.

I also bought a no added sugar Xmas pud yesterday ! Haven't got the details with me at the mo but will post them later.

Fabulous tips, thanks.

I've been looking out for a Christmas pudding without luck so far so details on it would be great.

Thanks Rose, been trying to find different bits to try :)

Great tips... Rose... hope you are doing ok with so much going on right now... love and hugs xxx

Am running late with the exhibition prep and have had to delay installation until later this week... :(
Work OK at the mo - waiting on others to do stuff so I'm going down to the gym shortly, provided nothing happens in the meantime...

How you doing this morning ? Less colourful today ? xxx

wow thanks huni, im gonna have a look at them sites in a bit, can u post the christmas pudding one too for us, that will be a great boon. thanks again huni, hugs xx

The NAS Xmas pud I bought is made by Jenkins & Hustwit ( http://www.jenkinsandhustwit.com ) Ingredients: sultanas, raisins, dates, prunes, breadcrumbs, vegetable suet, flour, carrot, apple, brandy, eggs, almonds, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, preservative: potassium sorbate. No nutritional info on packaging.

thanks huni, it sounds ok though dosnt it, i know dried fruit has a lot of natural sugars, but we should be ok to have a bit shouldnt we. thanks again huni, big hugs xx

making Christmas pudding is so EASY! I make several every year as my hubby is nut intolerant. I shall make mine using splenda this year, and Christmas cake too.
