As I've now been told that two of the options for my pre-op diet is 4 cans slimming soup, 4 pots of yoghurt and 200mls milk or 2 cans soup, 2 pots yoghurt and 2 pints milk I decided I would look for things to change with that extensive list of dishes!!
Last night, before I went to bed, I put a pot of Muller Banana & Custard yoghurt in the freezer and, for lunch today I took it out and have been picking at it. It takes ages to defrost and tasts a bit like those Banana lollies you get from the ice cream van!!
Admittedly it is full of crystals so it's not smooth like ice cream but it's taken a lot longer to eat than it would have done out of the fridge!!
I think I'll be trying it with a few different flavours over the next couple of weeks before I have to start my pre-op diet!!
