Now here's a question... :help2: I have had a partial upper denture since smashing my front top teeth when I was very young. I know that I have some gum problems, but have been told by my dentist that I will eventually lose the few teeth I have left on top, but that it would be a while yet, as my teeth & gums were healthy. I am very aware, and do look after my dental health well. HOWEVER, since my op, I am aware that my gums are very tender, on one location in particular, my right eye-tooth, the gum is receding and very swollen! I'm wondering why this has happened so quickly when they've been okay for many years... I'm wondering if it's anything to do with the Liquid Meds I'm taking at the moment, or perhaps acid reflux, not aware of it, and on meds for it anyway. Has anyone else had this problem, I am very curious as to why this has happened?
