Hey guys,
I was looking through our stats and noticed we had quite a few people on dialup.
I know from using dialup (i had to use it at a friends house recently) that it can feel like an eternity to load each page.
So if your a registered member (if your guest you will have to register an account to do this, you dont need to post or do anything, just have an account).
Click UserCP (top blue bar on the left)
Then Click Edit Options (below where you would edit signature, its the bar on the left called settings and options)
Theres a large box (3rd box down) called Thread options.
Untick the following:
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in code)
Then go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
This will remove all the larger images from threads which should speed up the site, you can leave signatures ticked to track peoples weight loss tickers but play around with that setting to see if it helps you.
At any time you can go through the options and re-enable display images, avatars and signatures.
