Spent too much money today!

snagglepuss

No regrets!!
I had a complete brain meltdown today in John Lewis, and spent £69 on a summer dress!! I swore blind I'd not spend that sort of money on clothes til I stopped losing weight, but it was so nice, and also because I got over excited at fitting in a size 16 for the first time since I was 14 years old, that I went into idiot mode and before I knew it I was handing my card over!! Oh well, I suppose it will just become a bit more 'floaty' as I lose weight lol :)

You go girl........this is why we go through all this.......enjoy!!! :):)

ah to hell with it, its only money :D good for you honey :) xxx

Awww good for you hun but we want to see a pic of you in it:)))))

I have to say this time last year I wouldn't be seen dead in a dress - everything from the ankles up would be covered!! I went to a function on Saturday night and wore a just above the knee linen dress with bare legs and high wedge sandals - I felt really exposed but I've now conquered that fear!! I've been for a two hour spa pedicure today - don't know where next months mortgage money will be coming from now, but I've enjoyed today lol

Good for you hun, I wore a dress too for the first time in a lot of years a few weeks ago and felt a million dollars no regrets xxxxx

I'm not brave enough to post pics of myself on here yet, I don't know why cos you all do but it's something I seem a bit 'funny' about lol maybe that's my next thing to overcome! I should find a pic of me before, and one now, and that way perhaps I will see how far I've come, because I do still look in the mirror and despite having lost 6 stones, I still sometimes think I haven't really changed!! Although I know I have, as on Saturday night, 11 people who I know really well, all ignored me until my mate pointed me out - none of them recognised me, and were really shocked when the penny dropped!

Come on SP ... we showed you ours, now show us yours, lol ... :D:D xxx

Ok I will get the camera out and once I've worked out how to do the timer delay thing or trained the cat to press the shutter, I will do some before and after pics! Unless something miraculous happens, I doubt if it will be tonight!!

Well if she can cope with false nails, hair extensions & boob implants, taking a photo should be a breeze - or would she rather be on the other side of the camera :D:D xxx

Good for you , personally i'd have a fit if I bought a bag of stuff for that price :$

I've dug out some pics but until I can access this site on my pc Iinstead of via the app, I can't put them on here, hopefully they will get this malware virus problem sorted out soon so the site will work again!

Get to the charity shops while you are losing and you will get so much more for your money and not feel bad giving them back when they are too big! There are some fab summer clothes about.I work for Marie Curie and bought Jeager white cut off pants and a red and white top from Wallis to go with them.A pair of Clarks leather sandals in white and a selection of bangles in wood and metal.Red bag.Total price £20!Well over £100 worth.
