Stich

I have a "stich" type pain just below my left ribs, it comes and goes and can be very painful. The surgeon put my port about 3cm down from this and slightly to the right apparently so i was wondering if this pain is port related or just more wind pain!!
Any ideas??

Hi I'm not a bander iv just had a bypass 3 wks ago but I also had that pain for the first wk and half someone said it may b wind or eating and drinking too fast, ild say if it don't go tell ur team xxx

As you're barely out of surgery I would put it down to general aches and pains as a result of being pulled about and the port being sited in that area.
Keep the meds up and if it doesn't go away in the next week or two, then maybe contact the team.
You can call them anytime for reassurance though as they would be happy to put your mind at ease I'm sure x
