Stomach cramps / spasms

Has anyone else been experiencing severe stomach cramps / spasms and continued nausea and sickness which last the whole day but particularly at night. Thus making sleep near impossible.

I've deceided to stop my lanzsoprole for a few days as finding pain increases aftering taking them. Spoke to both the bariatric nurse and dietician at hospital as still only taking in fluids four weeks post op. They suggested the symptoms are usual for sleeves and could last up to 8 weeks but will try to being my 6 week appointment with consultant forward.

Where in your 'stomach' are you referring to?

If you mean the bit of your tummy where your tummy button is, bowel/intestine area - buscopan?

If you mean your 'actual stomach' which is about the middle of your chest where your ribs meet then this is what I have.

The stomach spasms, I've had for 7 months 2 weeks and 5 days, they are still utterly joyous (not) :cry: I have some drugs to help with this which I take when I need as they have alarming side effects, but mainly if I want to eat meat or fish and not have the spasms, feel sick, or be sick. I can now drink hot fluids and have sludgy food without getting the spasms. It is really exhausting. They are called Nifedepine, on prescription.

I had awful stomach pains recently,after looking at my diet I realised it was chilli that was causing the pain.Ive cut it out of my diet and not had the pain for almost 3 weeks.
It was so bad I thought I needed to go to a&e.

Yes! My God they are awful. I could actual feel my Lowe gut contort! I have no advice Patsy. I just hope it passes and soon!

Pain in below belly button. Tried buscopan which helped a little but now transfereed to stomach area. Bariatric nurse has managed to arrange an emergency appt with consultant tomorrow. Hope this helps as not been out of bed for 2 days.

I had my bypass in October last year and I was very bloated after the op. I can't remember when it went but it did go. All the best
