Strange muscle twitches

The strangest thing has started happening to me. My lips have started to twitch!
It started a few days back when I felt the muscles in my lips start to tighten into what felt like a kissing movement. It continued to do it but it isnt visible to the naked eye. It keeps doing it and is really quite an annoying feeling.
Anyone any ideas of what could be causing it? Anyone else had this?

Im actually seeing my GP on Monday morning because I have a rash that has been present since going on the post-op meds that is getting worse so I shall ask then.

I did see this twitching thing in a movie once.....

It was when the little girl in The Addams Family was trying to smile, can't be what you got Steph cos you are always smiling without any trouble...
