Stricture

No but I have heard people having them yes get checked out while you still in early stages. xx good luck xx

Thanks. Just read they seem to occur about a month out. It's horrible I feel sick with every sip of water, never mind food :(

I've had one :(

I've felt sick since the middle of May to now except for about 10 days :(, the stricture symptoms were different for me.

It came on gradually that I couldn't drink, I'd not been eating for 6-8 weeks anyway. When it got to the really bad point if I swallowed anything over a drop (2ml) then it came straight back up. It took me 4 hours to drink a large Costa latte, and that is all that I was having all day. It was a supreme effort to get that down.

An endoscopy followed with a balloon that they inflate to stretch it, it's great for a couple of days then it gradually gets tighter and they can repeat the process a couple of more times until your tubes stay open.

I also had/have stomach spasms which I have some drugs to take when it's really bad so I can try to eat something, but as time can be a great healer, these are getting easier as well and reducing for some things.

Google doesn't always know best, sometime the doctors do (choked getting that one out).

If you can't swallow a drop of fluid or your own saliva, press the panic button. Try and sip ridiculously slowly to get something like milk in, nutrition and fluid all in one magic mug ;)
