Stuck in my chest

I have just had chicken in white sauce, beans and cheese. It was blitzed with milk but now my chest is killing me. I ate slowly and had just under 3 tablespoons. Perhaps that was too much?

Is there anything I can do to ease the pain? Or do I just have to wait it out?

I wish I could advise you, but I don't have surgery next week. Why not try and see who is online and ask them. I hope that you feel better soon. :)

I'm afraid it's a wait game hun :( don't be tempted to wash it down either . Give it an hour to see if it moves itself and if not then just little sips. It will pass through eventually if you are not sick beforehand that is but don't be surprised if you are a bit tender for a day of so after ;) xx

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh sweetie it really hurts too doesn't it...I had some meat stuck and the pain was dreadful
Sadly it is a waiting game..I was told to try some diet coke to make it come up..but Im a bander
I hope you get sorted soon :/

Thanks all.

I don't think I could manage even a sip of anything fizzy. I may explode! I will just wait it out and try less food next time. Xx

It's so painfull. I'm usually sick when something sticks, (I had a bypass). I don't know what you've been advised about quantities, but I still couldn't manage 3 tablespoons. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I was told to start with 2 tablespoons and work up to no more than 4. I am just not ready yet it seems. Xx

Poor you, there's nothing worse than that full up stuck feeling.
I was always sick when I did that, not voluntarily, it would just rebel, but otherwise all you can do is wait it out and rub the area where the pain is to help it along its' way.

Gang, this morning I had 2 teaspoons of Apple and prune puree, I waited the required 30 minutes before I started drinking. I continued to sip throughout the morning and now I feel stuffed again! No pain in my chest this time but my tummy feels "jammed". I tried to be sick but nothing came back up. Am I full or could this be wind? I am stressed about stretching my sleeve or disrupting my staple line.

I apologise for all the questions (they may seem stupid). I never imagined that it would be so hard to eat in my life.

none of the questions on here are stupid because everyone has different concerns.
I can't see anywhere on here the date of your op but guess it must have been quite recently.
You just have to take things really slowly and you'll soon find out what you are comfortable with.
A personal question but are you constipated? If so go for a brisk walk and drink as much water as you can.
Everything will be fine and don't fret about your sleeve as the quantities you are eating won't cause any harm.
Take care.

Not silly questions at all Apostive ;). Sounds like you are still a bit tender from yesterday. Keep it light hun and keep sipping & im sure all will be okay tomorrow x

Thank you.

I haven't opened my bowels in a couple of days but I'm in no pain or discomfort as far as that goes. I have decided to go back to liquids (for a day or so, I am very full, very quickly today too. If I am honest, I actually don't want to eat, it makes me so nervous.
