Hiya Sue after my bypass i was up and around with in a few hours, once i was discharged i was pretty much back to normal but no heavy lifting ect, i did get quite tired quickly after doing different things but i was told this is normal in the early stages, most people take 2-3 weeks off work after a bypass depending on the nature of the job you have x

Welcome to the forum, I am two weeks post op and planning another couple of weeks as I am a home carer for the elderly so its quite a physical job, but if I had an office job I feel well enough to so that.
