Supper tonight

Looking forward to dinner tonight. French style chicken with bacon, peas, little gem lettuce & creme fraiche sauce. Used healthy options in recipe no oil, 1/2 the bacon, skinless thighs, 1/2 fat creme hoping I can manage a small plate. Smells & looks lovely & boyfriend says he is really looking forward to it. May treat myself with a little glass of Sav Blanc.

Sounds delicious - more so because I'm only 3 weeks out and still on pureed food, and because I'm pre-menstrual, so could eat my right arm if it were cooked!! lol

Oh poor you. I'm 5 months post op but find it difficult to eat. Hoping this will tickle my fancy. Good luck - it does go fast just doesn't seem like it at the time.

Snap, apart from the PMT since I am a bloke :8855:

Yeah but We all get PMT (pre meal tension) now post surgery particularly in the early stages as we are learning. LOL
Supper nice but could only manage very very small quantity. Experiencing a bit of pain even though I chewed & chewed. I am never good with meat or poultry. My boyfriend loved it & happy he has another portion for tomorrow. I loved cooking it.

Sounds delish and one of my fave dishes, I did slow cooked lamb with rocket, mint leaves and pomegranate nom nom nom

Mmmm love lamb but find it hard to tolerate at mo. your dish sounds quite middle eastern?

Aaaah love her programmes & books.
