Surgeries after wls at sunderland.....

hi guys meeeee again so im wondering will sunderland make you sign forms to say there not responsible for any nip tucks required after your wls??.....

if your on about plastic surgery theres currently no funding for this at the moment at S/land all patients are being refused plastics for now, most people will have lose skin its a side effect of drastic weight loss, some can live with it and others not x

no they don't ask you to sign anything like that, just the usual consent to the actual surgery.
fingers crossed that when we are all several years post op and ready for plastics the funding issues have improved, cos i've got a pair of bingo wings that need some attention !!

the bariatric nurse said funding for plastics is limited but not ruled out all together - its a individual merit if you like and all cases are referred under strict criteria (BMI being 26 at it highest!) but current gov - god know what changes will be!! Also the station medical officer might be able to refer you t a separate area - I know peterborough were quite good - but that was a year ago!

hye liz i took a look! your looking good! i did think tho tt were done across hip to hip? do some places do it different??..... ive had two sections :-/ so cutting across there again (shudder) but it will need to be done other wise.... my growler will be lost forever!!! sniffff hahahha xx (sorry about that haha its my sense of humour x)

a standard tuck is hip 2 hip they said this type was better for me and would give me a better shape, i like ya sense of humour x

I think that it will happen that all pct`s will turn round and say no to save money with the amount of people going thru the system.

I am going private and having the full works done hopefully next month.I dont want to be a bmi of 28 I am happy with been the size I am. dont want to be skinny.If that makes sense

hiya doogle, have we met before ? was this your 1st fill? and how much was put in, its rare the 1st fill has any effect and can sometimes take a few fills to actually start experiencing the restrictive feelings, give it a chance to settle as it was only Thursday that you had it done if no better then ring the nurse and explain your situation x
