Yup!Crazy isnt it,you have to have bmi of 50 on Merseyside.Or prove you have tried all sorts to get weight off and keep it off and failed.I have bad snoring though not sleep apnea, terrible hip pain, lower back probs and borderline diabetes. I have just had a pelvic floor repair,(4 weeks ago)just starting to feel ok after that as stitches got infected, have depression, but who wouldnt when their nether regions were dropping out!sorry guys!!I have been under Walton for nearly a year now.You have to show all attempts have been made to lose weight,co.morbidities,ie all other drs you are under for different probs etc.Doc said if I lost weight yet again and put any on or hit bmi of 45 I could have a bypass!I wanted a band but he said bypass would be better.
