Hope you don't mind a noob posting but my sleeve gastrectomy is soon. March 5. It's been a long hard road, 3 years since I started the wheels in motion for WLS, and 1 failed attempt, but it's finally going ahead in 2 weeks. Tomorrow-- the yucky liquid diet begins. Good luck to everyone who's got a date. I just found this board, and I'm glad I did.

Oh, I have a feeling I'll be on here a lot. One side effect of the date getting closer is insomnia! Too excited/scared to sleep. Which is why I am posting at 6:30 am.

Wow, it's lovely to be greeted by so many friendly people!
Shelbell, I'm only having the sleeve. This is my second chance at wls, and I'm more at risk for complications because of other health issues. I have full faith in my surgeon though. He really is a star and is making sure everything will be as safe as it can be.

I hope it works well for you Ditsy Now your tickers up I can see your BMI is too low for the DS aswell. Was just curious as I've read a lot about the sleeve/ds option but don't know anyone who's had it done.

Don't think there is anyone else on here who has had the sleeve, so it will be great to follow your progress and hear all about it.
