Hi and welcome to mini's
I used Surgicare they are very good, expensive but worth the extra put in for aftercare, bloods, weight in, fitness plans as well as a dietitian on call 24 hours a day.
I had mine in london and would recommend them to anyone. The consultant you meet at the initial consultation is your SURGEON so ask any questions you need answering, i found he antisipated a lot of what i wanted to know. including complication rates ect.
on the day you will also be introduced to the dietitian and he will go over what is needed in terms of pre-op diet and the 7 weeks afterwards. ~On top of all the one on one info you will also get sent a booklet detailing everything out, once you have signed up with them to have your bypass done.
Once you have the funds in place you can have the op anytime in fact if it were in place and you agreed at the consltation, signed all the forms and transfered the money it could be done within a few days. Of course its better to wait a week or two and think about it and be sure you have asked everything you need to. the choice is yours.
Hope this helps...
