Taking my tablets after a bypass ?

Hi i have to take about 6 tablets a day for blood preasure and other stuff pluss my pain killers codeine or tramadol and 1 methotrexate injection a week. Will i still be able to take these does anyone else take tablets after bypass x

My surgeon told me to continue with mine from the day after the op, I did and had no problems, I never had any liquid alternatives!!

As long as none of them are slow or modified release, you can crush them and take them.
One of mine was a modified release so my GP found me an alternative to use until I could manage them whole again

Took them all as usual no problem was never ofered any alternative at all. X

Hi

I had to change one of my slow release tablet but other than that I was able to take all mine and that included the Forceval Multivitamin and that one is huge.
