Some of it can be a bit oily but not to bad in the amounts we can eat. Try a frittata ( baked omelette) I can eat that but not a English omelette, magra con tomart (pork in a tomato sauce), queso & jam (fried cheese that you dip in jam), patatas bravas (wedges) served with garlic mayo & spicy sauces, pinchos (pork kebabs) with a lovely marinade, champinones with jamon (garlic mushrooms with little bits of Serrano ham) the ham can be a bit tough for our pouches, Russian salad (tuna & veg potato salad) with bread sticks. Lots lots more but these are a few of my favourite things from our Spanish mountain holidays. Fish is another great thing on their menus from swordfish to prawns & snails so loads of protein options. Lomo (pork) or pollo (chicken) are usually steaks that are battered thin pieces. It is all beautiful. Puddings can be custards or creme caramel types or ice-cream & are lovely to. Soups are full of meat pieces & lovely. I tend to take some small pots out with me when we go to Spain & pop my left overs in them to reheat later or the next day for lunch.
Enjoy I envy you.
