Taping sessions with MDT

Hi all
I'm off to L&D on thursday for my triple appointment and I'm wondering how you think they might react if I ask if I can record the sessions with them as I know for sure that I will not remember all that we discuss.
Do you think they'll have a problem with that ?

I'm also chuffed as I've lost 10lbs since my last appointment without actually trying (first time ever lol).

All you can do is ask their permission first and see what they say.
I know what you mean I can never remember what is said

They should be ok but may ask you to take someone with you to remember stuff.Or ask a nurse to write the main stuff down for you,Maz x

i would have thought they would have been ok with it but take a pen and paper with you and then at least you can write down the bits that want to. They should also see then what you are doing and slow down to give you time to write the information

I went with notebook and pen and wrote everything they said down much to their amusement.....

Notebook and pen - damn good idea !

I would love to have someone with me but we live near Norwich and because I don't like to drive in the dark I stay at the Travelodge in Luton on Wed and Thurs nights and it's a bit unfair to ask someone else to do that too. Hubby has to stay at home to look after our 9 year old son.
