I'm sorry the scales are only showing 1kg lost when you've been trying so hard.

Can you give us an example of what you've been eating just to see if there's anything obvious that could be delaying your weightloss.

Hi maz.....

Are you eating enough? I know we can stall if your body is thinking your not putting enough into it?

Maybe try myfitnesspal and add your foo intake see where u are with calories each day?
Or could u try somthing like Ww or sw from home?

Can't imagine what you're doing wrong really. It sounds like a healthy diet. Were you weighed on the same scales?
Sometime e don't eat enough and our body goes into starvation mode. But I'm only losing a pound a week at the moment and that's post bypass; eating very healthy and tiny amounts too! Some of us just are slow losers I'm afraid.
Hopefully you will see a sudden big loss soon.
Keep on going, don't give up.

It could so easily be that the scales are showing the wrong weight honey!

I weighed yesterday on hospital scales in Harrogate and they showed me 2 kg heavier than Boots scales do. Try not to worry. Maybe go and weigh on Boots scales for the next few weeks and KEEP the slips. Then you'll be able to see if you've lost weight and be able to prove it too.
Just keep doing what you've been doing lovey and it HAS to come off eventually. And write a food diary too. Don't go mad snacking on fruit. Keep it to a maximum of about 3 peices a day. Better chew on a carrot or celery as they have less carbs. You CAN and you WILL do this!

Hugs and cheer up.

I can fully sympathise with I know exactly where you are coming from I have been there myself.
I agree with grace on this one, you should try boots scales, 50p of well spent money and you have a printed record of weight & height in both stones & lbs & kilos--always good to fall back on.
I have starved myself at times over the years in my quest to loose weight but at the end of the day if it went on at only 1lb at a week and over a year 52lb it aint going to shift in a hurry.
You just hang in there and give yourself a little more time, don't give up on yourself and just pop into boots, you have the support of everyone here. LOL. XX

just recieved a leter today wth copy what has been sent to my docs from hospital , stating i was discussed in meeting re bypass, and that i have to be prescribed a pill called xenical prior to mnext appoitment , the 16th feb.assuming this is diet pill ? so if so this should help me , got appointment at docs on monday morning to get it.thankyou all for your support i really needed it, people i know dnt understand, its your support that we need as you all understand what we going through, so thankyou all i really appreciate it .xx

Really feeling for you and I'm a slow loser too.. so know how frustrating it can be... I've stayed the same since Christmas and also on my pre op... so it can happen.

I'd certainly be recording everything... myfitnesspal is brilliant for measuring everything and I'd definitely be getting a print out on the Boots scales... it's disheartening... but keep going and building up exercise... we are with you and wishing you well..

In the meantime, sending a humungous hug and all good wishes... xxx

Sorry to hear about your disappointing weight loss. I know that my scales have a 3 llb differance to those in the hospital. Have you tried upping your protein and fluid intake as this can often make a differance.

Are you doing any activities which will help you burn more calories? I'm sending you lots of hugs and cheer up vibes.

love

i Mazbrad ...

Your menu sounds very low fat so cant see why they would prescribe xenical ? ... ahh well who knows what goes through the minds of doctors lol ...

I agree that myfitnesspal is a great tool for tracking food and counting calories :)
