odd question, do our taste buds change after op, this has been an odd week on chrunchy mushy food, taste wise things i used to like just taste...well..bleurgh lol. had a few issues where food wouldnt settle and had to bring back up again, and i dont know if this has put me off trying something else, one more week and "normal" food. but i am struggling

Before my op, I would drink around 10 cups of black coffee a day... Now I can't stand it! Even skimmed milk tasted like thick cream and was bleurgh, now I have milky cappucino, lattes, etc. I also couldn't stand kidney beans, yet today I had chilli and they were in, and I really enjoyed it!
Very strange...
