Tattoos and weight loss

I've got several tattoos on my upper arms and I was wondering if any post op forum members had any tattoos in the same place before their op? Do they look any different now you've lost weight? Just want to know what to expect.

I have 5 tattoos but they are all in places not affected by my weight loss/gain ie wrist, ankles etc.

I would assume that they would shrink with you but cant be 100% -sorry not much help eh! good luck with your op.

i have 1 dolphin tattoo on my left upper arm it has shrunk a little but it still looks ok x

I have one on each of my upper arms, they are shrinking but still look in proportion. The one thing I have noticed is how much more vibrant the colours are though.

I have two on my upper thigh and they have shrunk and look better than they ever did as they are more defined and the colour is much better.

I'm covered in them and havent really noticed much of a change

totally off subject but when i have reached my goal i hope to have a tattoo (If i am brave enough)
