Taybarns... I love you!!

My OH has had to put up with a lot from me both pre op and now post op. I've been really reluctant to go anywhere and bless him, it's his birthday next week and he said he doesn't want to do anything. I know thats not true, it's just he doesn't want to cause upset to me.

Anyway, I know he loves Taybarns, so I rang them this morning and cos of my bypass they will allow me in as a child!! woohoo....I don't mind paying £4 for a bowl of soup but £8.50 would be a bit steep.. I can't wait to tell him.

This has also given me the confidence to phone ahead of time and ask for a discount...so everyone please don't hesitate to ask....xx

p.s it would be more difficult if i was going with people who didnt know about op!!

Thanks for this. My OH has been amazing too and we have arranged a weekend away (kid free) on 9th October. We could have booked bed, breakfast and evening meal but I didn't see the point! I think I will phone ahead or just say when we get to the pub and just have a soup or something. They will either want my custom or not!!!!!

Thanks, I would find it all embarrassing asking in person but over the phone i'm ok with. I'm really excited to tell him, but the woerd thing is preop this would have been a normal meal out!!!

I know!!! We are at really similar stages of our surgery and I don't know about you but I already reminice about pre op and think did I really eat THAT much!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone, I was once told a long time ago it either makes or breaks a relationship having WLS. Thankfully its so far going the right way...long may it continue..xx
