I'm in 2 states of mind today as this time next week I'll have been cut and shut so so excited!!! However I have woken up today with a really bad head cold and cough in so scared their gonna cancel my op I've waited too long for this to be beaten by a head cold gotta get better ASAP!!!

Hi Nikki, I really hope you will get well soon. I don't know if they cancel surgery when you are unwell, but either way, get well soon. Hoping all will go well.

I had my op with a chest infection but it was a close call. Hope you feel better soon and all goes to plan

Thanks ladies I'm currently in bed doing absolutely nothing except drink loads of fluids, taking echinacea tabs and sugar free dispensable vitamin c and homemade chicken soup. Spoke to the Drs today and he said it doesn't sound like chest infection and even if it was he wouldn't give me antibiotics with op so close so just gotta shake it off myself. I will win!!! I need that op!!!
