What do thg send you home with when you have been banded?

Anti sickness?
Vitamins?
Pain relief?

Hi Paula - not a lot really, I just had a bottle of liquid paracetamol - not very strong. I suggest you get some dispersible paracetamol 500mg if you can take this. T xxx

Thanks Tracey, was just reading through the booklet and it mentions anti sickness medicine and taking it for 48hours regardless of if you feel sick or not?

Hi Meggie - not given to me and I was banded by Sigurdsson too. This said I know they gave me anti-nausea along with anaesthetic as I reacted badly when I was much younger. I had no sickness at all, in fact felt less sickness post operatively when all the nerves had gone!

That's what is scaring me. I react quite bad to anaesetic. I get soo sick. Although on my last one not a bit and went for a Maccy d's right after.
